Wow why is CA Governor Moonbeam Brown not doing this!!! At least LA to San Francisco. What a great way to celebrate actual freedom for July 4th

Very cool....I need to move to Oregon... :)

A genius move! This give me hope that there are indeed some politicians out there that have the people's best interests in mind, and not their own greedy agendas to cram down everyone throat. The more EVs on the road, the more truly independent we are.
Buying an electric motorcycle is my way of giving the finger to big oil all the crooks involved.

He probably couldn't do that trip on a Zero, but he could definitely go with Tesla. The factory is in Fresno.
So, Fresno to Sacramento, passing through San Francisco would be 276 miles and about 4 hours 52 minutes on I-80 E according to Google maps.
If we take San Fran from the equation, it would be 172 miles and 3 hours. If you count that he will stop in a few places to eat and give speeches... it's perfectly feasible in one (long) day...

Moonbeam would rather spend $100 billion on a high-speed train to nowhere that no one will ride. His interest in electric vehicles seems to be minimal, although he did show up for the roll out of the Tesla S - and then drove off in a convoy of gas-hogging SUVs.

Hmmm, I stand corrected then... this must be just a publicity stunt. At least Brammo is going to get in on some of that good publicity though. :)

Any biodiesel vehicles, or SVO? Biodiesel requires methanol, but even the cheap stuff is made from natural gas, not oil.
