Title: Cooling system
Post by: Ramses on September 03, 2016, 07:47:25 AM
I think i don't have a good cooling circulation, so i have a few questions.

What motor tempratures do you measure? (High temperature and when it starts cooling?)
Is there a thermostat? if the answer is yes does anybody know at what temperature it opens and where it is located?
Are the hoses/radiator heating up when you're driving?

My motor heats up to 125°C according to the display and the hoses/radiator are cold.

My bike starts the cooling pump around 40 Celcius and the temperature stays around 60 to 70 Celcius.

Can you hear the pump at all?
Did you check if there is water in the system?

I can hear the pump and checked if there is cooling fluid in the system.
I'll bring the bike next week back to the shop.
Thnx for the fast reaction!

Yes, 125C is way too hot! Sounds like a pump problem. I wouldn't run it at those temps as electrical components in motors don't like heat and can be permanently ruined.

There is also a fuse for the cooling loop...check that?
