Title: New Mod: External charging plug (without removing the seat)
Post by: Consultec on October 03, 2015, 11:25:15 PM
I am planning on modifying the seat frame (cut a circle) to support external charging port.  I bought all the stuff a few years ago. I decided to work on it this month.

My wiring kit.

That looks  promising. I just leave the end of my cord sticking out, which works, but looks kind of  compared to this. Keep us updated, please.

Were there any results from this?

Thats cutting the FRAME itself, I wouldn't put that kind of stress hole in any structural frame member. I routed the cord under the seat lock bracket and out the back with a fender bag to hold the cord tail.
