This is an interesting video discussing the economic and efficiency merits of both H2 and electrical powered vehicles: 

And BTW, the very expensive Hydrogen Highway station built across from Alice's Restaurant is still not functioning. There is no operator for the station and the H2 fueling pump has not been turned on, either.  However, the two nice bathrooms built into the station building is being used by the nearby general store's old deteriorated gas pumps for its customers.  ::)

Thank you for sharing the video.  Very interesting to say the least. 

Another point to make in favor of the BEV is that power can be produced from home with solar panels, reducing or eliminating the need to rely on another entity for fuel.

Heh you mean this one it kinda sat there all day I tried pressing the buttons on it and it was kinda dead.  Must suck having to haul that H2 up there =P  I wish they would have installed an EV charging station while they were at it.




Was there last weekend test riding the Husqvarna Vitpilen and Svartpilen.  The Empulse will barely make that ride and I have to charge an hour to get home.  It sucked having to wait for the demo ride and my bike couldn't charge anywhere :(  Portola Valley is a great place to charge though and the first hour is free.  :)  I made it home barely, few block from home it went from 11% to 0% =O

Ouch haha yeah hydrogen fuel cell is kind of a mystery right now.  The most plentiful resource on the planet  yet it still costs more to drive than gasoline.
