The drivers do get to give input and do have certain preferences...

I know that at SECA there were a number of changes made to the bikes before that weekend...and SteveO wasn't in love with one of the brake changes and The BrammoTeam changed that back to the one SteveO felt more comfortable with...

At least that was my impression...Brian would know more...I was an intermittent observer as I was most "selling" the bikes at the marketing tent...

Last year EBoz was running Dunlop DOT racing tires where Atlas was running Pirelli slicks with a wider rear tire.  Now according to Atlas's latest blog post on Brammo's site (http://www.brammo.com/blogs/?p=1781) he will be running Dunlops this year.  Its a pretty big change for him, but I think he's OK with it.  Either way this is wide open prototype racing, and unless the team has a brake sponsor the riders can ask for what they want.  Actually the riders may have contracts that require them to use certain rotors or brakes.  EBoz has a deal with Dunlop which is why he was riding their tires last year.  So differences are to be expected.  Good catch though.
