Quadro eQooder

This 4-wheel electric motorcycle is as goofy as its name. But at least it won't fall over at a stop:

Their website says it will use a Zero 75-7 motor with a 45kW peak and 110 Nm torque giving a 150 km range (with enhanced 10.8 kWh Zero battery back.

Plus world-wide patents on the world's only vehicle with all 4 wheels that tilt. That's got to serve up some weight, complexity, and cost.

All this, plus a reverse gear, starting at only..., well, a E5000 down payment. [Couldn't find the final price].

A vehicle like that would be legal to drive on public streets in many areas of the World, but not in the U.S. as it would be likely classified as a car and be required to meet similar safety requirements as an automobile.  It could be used off-road, though.  But why you would want to ride it off-road when there are lots of ATV's on the market, would be a question?

My granddaughter is attending the Freie University in Berlin and she has taken photos of standard ATV's being ridden on pubic streets.  So the eQooder would likely not have a problem being licensed and ridden in Germany, as an example.  But still, I don't see it as being a big seller.   ::)

It's a damn shame we don't have street legal quads in the US.  I ride dual sports, dirt bikes, a quads and I love riding quads just as much.

So this contraption is like the new Yamaha Niken a leaning multi wheel?  I hope they will make an offroad capable LMW I think that's the only way we can have something similar to a quad for adventure riding.
