Yup so this happened. Come back from work to my parked bike (near a very busy intersection in Center City Philly), try to get going and hear a loud rubbing from the front of the bike. It's barely moving! Pull off, inspect the front and the fender is a melted blob! I was already running late to get home, so this really pissed me off. Ripped the damn thing off and took off. Shoulda probably held on to it as a keepsake or something. Guessing a bus idled nearby for a while and the heat melted the plastics.
Soo...anyway, does anyone have a spare front fender they want to sell me?

Unbelievable! Sorry this happened to you. B hope you're able to find a replacement.

Thanks for your post, I now know to keep away from exhausts. Maybe I'll use epoxy primers/paints, clearcoats to try to add some kind of protection. =/
I've kept a 2014 Empulse, stock front fender as a spare, might be just what you need =)

Are you willing to part with it? I'd be happy to buy it from you. Hit me up rstrakovsky@gmail.com.

Great to hear. Thanks for the update. Before and after pics would be awesome, as well. I'm one of those guys that keeps asking for more. :D

Cybergodzilla lived up to his name and hooked my up in a huuuuge way. Many thanks! Also many thanks to Wera tools for actually having Torx adapters in their tool set :)
