http://new.livestream.com/isleofmantt (http://new.livestream.com/isleofmantt)

iTV will have some coverage for UK residents
http://www.itv.com/sport/isleofmantt/ (http://www.itv.com/sport/isleofmantt/)

manx radio will cover the races live. I recall listening to this last year, it was quite good.

There's an official iOS and Android app that integrates news, live timing, some video, schedules, etc. If it doesn't crash like it did for me.

Anyone else planning to wake up at 4:45 central time to listen to or watch this race? I just set my alarm.

Sweet someone posted that video here.

I can talk suspension jive here and know there are people smarter than I listening.  Watch the bikes in that video closely.  First all of the bikes but the first three bottom out and scrap fairings as they hit the bottom of the hill.  Secondly, after you've calibrated to that watch the difference between McGuinness on the Mugen and Rutter and Miller on the MotoCzysz bikes.  McGuinness looks like he's riding the crap out of the bike.  The MotoCzysz bikes look mind-blowingly smooth like they are stuck to the ground with magnet-fields or something.  Absolutely composed.  I think Brammo has their hands full if MotoCzysz has their chassis sorted that well.

Is it just me or are you guys seeing it too?

Michael Rutter #1 and John McGuinness #2, only 1.6 seconds apart. Rob Barber with Ohio State picked up #3 to round out the podium. Mark Miller on the 2nd MotoCzysz bike retired midway through the race with an unknown failure.

Rutter 109.675 mph. Only a couple seconds away from 110 mph. Next time, Gadget.. next time!

I remember Michael (Rutter or Czysz) in an interview last year. He said that he isnt very confident that they can get another huge step like that in another year and was quite sure development would slow down a little.

Im as glad as surprised to see that he was wrong.

Now the average speeds were: 2010: 96.820 mph; 2011: 99.604 mph (delta: ~2.8); 2012: 104.056 mph (delta: ~4.5); 2013: 109.675 mph (delta: ~5.6).
Im not very surprised that they got faster every year. But im really fucking surprised and impressed that even delta got higher. Thats quite insane.

I'm an uneducated idiot.  Could you explain what you mean by "delta"?

Ah... now I see.  The difference between the current and the previous years' times/speeds.  Very cool.

It looks like MotoCzysz won the IOM TT Zero race.  Here is a link to a photo of the winning team and a couple of exciting on-bike videos of portions of the race, one from the cockpit of the Mugen bike and one from the view of the MotoCzysz's brake caliper.
