Mission Motors electric racer stalks the streets of San Francisco

Mission is taking their racer through the streets of SF, gathering data. They are using their bike as a development platform to explore technology that will end up in the products that they are building for other OEMs. Who knows when (or if ever) Mission will turn all that research into another bike at some time in the future.

I'm happy that Brammo has been using their development platform (the Empulse RR) to develop a production sports bike. One day I'm going to be the happy owner of an Empulse, which I don't think will be the case for the Mission bike.

Sweet looking bike... reminds me of an MV Agusta F4, single sided swing arm and all. Blows my mind that they wont sell the damn thing... even if it would cost big $
