Just published a short blog entry to preview my trip to Daytona this weekend. I have a bit of a backlog with my blog entries that I need to get caught up on. My excuse? A very sick family including my 3 month old daughter, and the resulting lack of sleep. Anyway, I managed to get my hands on a new camera capable of taking 3D images and 1080p video... anyone out there have a 3d monitor?

Also, Im sure there are a ton of questions you guys would like to ask Brammo directly, so let me know, and I will ask. Any other special requests while I am there?

No, but I have red / cyan glasses. If you upload a 3D video to youtube it will automatically convert it into each of the major stereoscopic formats.

Unfortunately I cannot take 3D video, just stills. I am now packing a Sony NEX-5N. It doesnt have dual lenses, so the 3D stills are generated via panorama sweep. Its a very cool feature, but no 3D video unfortunately. It will do 1080p60 though, and the pictures this thing takes makes my old camera look like garbage.

I got the 5N a few months ago and have loved it.  It makes me look like a much better photographer than I really am.

Same here, lol. I have been taking pictures and video here at Daytona and this thing has just blown me away... its SO NICE!
