Interesting wouldnt quite nail it.
The battery in the front hub? WTF?
I dont want to be the reasonless ranting guy, but thats just insane.
Huge mass which has to be acclerated to spin up => low acceleration, and additional energy lost while braking, not even mentioning the brakes which will be more stressed; then its a lot of undampened mass which will be hit by every stone with full force, then it will work as a gyroscope, giving the bike a rather ... unique behavior. Its not like he needed the additional space, he could just place it in the middle. There is a reason why Brammo, Zero etc are doing it.
Also 7k sound a bit low for something which is almost only made of unique parts.
Then there are the pedals: As soon as you have a real motor, pedals become irrelevant. Humans can output about 200-500 W for longer times while being quite stressed with it (up to 1kW for very short peak times). A small electric motor like the one in the Enertia with its 11kW (?, and the ICE engine should make about the same with 50/150 cc) makes footwork just about irrelevant.
I wouldnt be surprised if it wont leave the concept zone.
