Brammo will not charge

Well now I really need a service manual.  Loaned me bike to my early adopter (and very curious) friend who took the outer cover off and was looking around inside.  During this he said the only thing he did was unplug a couple of plugs.  However, now that everything is plugged back in, and triple checked (!), it will not charge.  When I plug the AC charge cord in all that is diplayed is "Connect AC Power."

Any ideas?  Is there a reset procedure.  Unfortunately I have no way to get this to a dealer anytime soon.
