Dual voltage charger by Aerovironment
« on: February 04, 2014, 09:39:15 PM »
Aerovironment has come out with an interesting portable charger that can handle 120 or 240 volts.  The dual voltage version costs $649.

Only 16 amp .. but that's perfect for the Empulse.

Very good pricing. The EVSEUpgrade cables are closer to $1k I think.

Very cool. I wonder if Brammo could offer this with their bikes as an upgrade option?

It's very compact and would be much easier to carry in a backpack.  The only thing is I wish they'd provide more socket adapters, it's 6-20p or nothing with their system, even though their plug is modular.  I could carry some alternate 3rd party adapters, but it would be nice to be able to carry just their small adapters and only the ones I needed...
