Lito Sora heading for production

It looks like the Lito Sora is heading for production.  But will they sell?  And for how much?

Interesting that the journalist misread the specs (probably from an ICE bias).  They got the highway and city range backwards (they link to the Lito page which has the correct specs - http://www.litogreenmotion.com/the-sora#/technical-features).

The reservation page says that the starting price is US$49k...(http://www.litogreenmotion.com/pricing)

Jim beat me to the inverted range figures.

Hmm... 573 lbs with the same torque as an Empulse R, no pillion, no place for saddle bags or top case, and at double the price? PASS!  (Looks cool in a muscle-bike kinda way, though)

Despite its bulk, this is still probably a pretty quick bike. I would expect it to be a little slower than the Empulse R.

$49k seemed like a nominal price back when it was announced (mid 2011 .. Lito's held onto this bike even longer than Brammo with the Empulse). Best of luck to them selling more than a few bikes if that's the actual price.

This would have been an awesome (and expensive) bike in 2011. In 2014, it has some style and a few neat tech toys, but the range and power are now only "good".
