Rider magazine MOTY election
« on: April 28, 2014, 09:59:12 AM »
Rider magazine (June issue, page 8 ) is letting their readers choose their 2014 "Motorcycle Of The Year" award.  In addition to the motorcycles on their list they also will accept write-ins votes.  The deadline to vote is June 30.  If you vote and explain why you chose that motorcycle you will be entered into a random drawing for a nice prize.  Or you can vote anonymously if you don't want to leave your name and be entered into the contest.  You can vote at Rider's website:  http://www.ridermagazine.com/2014-peoples-choice-motorcycle-of-the-year-vote-now-win-a-prize/

I thought this would be a good way for electric motorcycle enthusiasts to show their support for our riding passion on a major U.S. motorcycle magazine forum.  I note (I assume) that because the 2014 Brammo Empulse is not significantly different from the 2013 model it is not included in the list of motorcycles on the voting sheet. However, the article says that you can write-in your own selection.  Oddly, all of the 2014 Zeros are listed on their voting chart, although I would have only included their SR model as being different from the 2013 models.   ???

Thanks for this, Richard. I voted for the Brammo Empulse R.  Of course. :)
