More and more appalled by ICE vehicles
« on: October 02, 2014, 08:09:05 AM »
Riding with the Empulse R for two weeks now and I am convinced this is the future developing as I ride.
Filtering trough traffic, right up to the line at the traffic lights.
Waiting for the lights to turn green I look around me:100's of  tons of steel cages belching out fumes and noise, while not moving at all.
The only thing moving on my Empulse is the green running light on the dash.

Green, off we go.. and never looking back!
Modifications so far:
Crash bungs
shortened chain tensioner bolts

I couldn't agree more! I don't know which is more annoying, smelling the gas fumes and/or being down wind of someone smoking a cigarette at the light.

I experience a similar change in my perspective from riding the Empulse as remarkable.

When behind a tour bus that's starting up from a light, I've gotten in the habit of holding my breath for as long as I can to avoid the black cloud.

Loud Harley's I've never liked, but now they seem so 19th century. Neanderthal.

I read the issues Ducati owners face with all that marvelous complexity and just sigh, and smile.

I talked to my UPS delivery guy this week to learn that his average route is about 30 miles, in a diesel truck that he stops and starts at each site, even when they're just a few houses apart.

The world is SO begging for EV's and they don't even know it!
