"The Emflux One is a new e-bike with a claimed top speed of 120 mph, range up to 120 miles, and is priced under $10,000. This Indian startup put its first electric sport bike prototype on display at the 2018 Auto Expo in New Delhi.
The Emflux one is powered by a single-speed, 80 horsepower, air-cooled motor and a 9.7 kWh cylinder Samsung lithium-ion cell-type battery. The motor controller limits max torque to 55 pound-feet, and max power to 71 horsepower. Emflux claims a 36-minute charge time via a WRP fast charger, or three hours from a 15A wall charger.
The bike’s claimed weight is a remarkable 373 lbs. It features a tube-steel trellis frame, a single-sided trellis swingarm, Brembo ABS brakes with regenerative braking, optional Ohlins suspension, a 6.8-inch TFT touch display, dual front and single rear cameras, built-in navigation system, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and 4G connectivity and a custom-designed Emflux NEXT user interface, all built around an NVIDIA Jetson TK1 (Tegra) embedded CPU, with realtime vehicle diagnostics.
It’s geared for 120 mph, and 60 mph in 3 seconds… If all the claims hold up in the final product, this should be one amazing bike.”
