Bad news for track days

The founder of Lit Motors was in a crash at Laguna Seca during a track day and now plans to sue the track day host.  Here are the gory details:

All I can say after watching the video is "WHEELIE FOR SAFETY!"  He wanted to go dirtbiking.

I mean he signed the waiver.  I'm sure it says in there motorsports are dangerous and may lead to death.

My turn for "After watching the video..."  I'm used to seeing track days require glass, like headlights, be taped over, but they're not here.  Is that not a universal standard, or did the new owner get lax?
