I visited Energica's booth at the US round of the World Superbike Championship 2018 at Laguna Seca raceway.  I follow them on Facebook and it said they were going to be there.  That being said I hadn't of seen that Facebook post I may have overlooked their booth.  The had the Ego Corse the Moto-E/MotoGP race bike, EVA Esse Esse, and an Ego.  I shot video of the booth I will probably post it later but here are the pictures.  I must say that Eva Esse Esse was almost like a work of art when you looked at the metal work on that bike.  It had a lot of fancy CNC bits on it.  I also met Chris again the guy I went for a demo ride with to ride the Eva, was great talking to him and they will be competing in the Refuel TT this coming weekend, it'll be great riding with them on the track.  Was nice to see the Energicas again I was practically drooling over them, if I had the $$$$$$$ to get one I'd have one.

Energica Motor unit
Supposedly this puts out about 150HP!  Notice it has a gear reduction drive system also (transmission)

Last fall my BMW dealer was selling the Energica Ego for only $16,100 and the Eva for just $1,000 more - for the base models without factory-installed farkles. This was for the left-over 2017 bikes.  The 2018 bikes prices went up about $5K, or so. Those 2017 prices were lower than Zero prices and you really got a lot of motorcycle for that money. Still, the bikes weren't exactly flying out the door and it took them months to sell their small inventory.
current bikes: 2018 16.6 kWh Zero S, 2011 Royal Enfield Bullet 500 Classic, 2009 BMW F650GS, 2007 BMW R1200R, 2005 Triumph T-100 Bonneville, 2002 Yamaha FZ1 and a 1978 Honda Kick 'N Go Senior.
