Anyone want to buy an electric scooter company?
« on: September 19, 2020, 09:28:18 AM »
And it looks like another one is about to bite the dust. I just don't think anyone is making much money manufacturing or selling electric motorcycles, other than maybe EV city bikes or scooters used for basic urban transportation:  https://electricmotorcycles.news/cezeta-motors-czech-electric-scooter-business-for-sale/
current bikes: 2018 16.6 kWh Zero S, 2011 Royal Enfield Bullet 500 Classic, 2009 BMW F650GS, 2007 BMW R1200R, 2005 Triumph T-100 Bonneville, 2002 Yamaha FZ1 and a 1978 Honda Kick 'N Go Senior.

The ČZ motorcycle brand has a long tradition in the Czech Republic and is known all over the world, but the production of classic petrol motorcycles is a thing of the past.

It is nice that someone has undertaken to renew this tradition in the field of electric retro scooter production. However, if this motorcycle costs one average annual salary in our country, it has no chance of greater success in the Czech Republic.

The only option is to focus on exports to other European countries or to the USA.
