2021 BMW Vision DC Roadster electric motorcycle
« on: November 22, 2020, 05:35:45 PM »
Check out minute 12 of this otherwise annoying video.  Could this bike actually be making it to BMW showrooms next year? I certainly didn't expect to see this EV arriving that soon. I wonder why it has slick tires?:

BMW generally makes really good stuff and doesn't make too many mistakes....  I just don't see the "thing" in question making it to production....  At least not in the existing form....

It looks ready to be displayed in a museum of industrial art.  ::)

I seriously doubt that will make it to production that looks like a concept bike.  It is cool looking though.  Doesn't look comfortable at all.  The Kymo Revo Nex in that video looks like it will make it to production more likely.  It's the closest bike to the Empulse to come out so far.

The Honda CBR 1000RR R-SP has a paint job that requires everyone on the road to be taking Dilantin or, at least, Dramamine.

Yeah, the Vision DC Roadster looks "breezy" and totally impractical. Grabs eyeballs though.
