As the subject states, where are all the Brammo owners? I'm know that there are more than the 5 to 10 people who contribute regularly on this forum who visit the site.
If you own one of these bikes, or even if you don't and are curious about getting a Brammo or other electric motorcycle, join the forum! Ask questions and share your experiences.

I moved last year from Kansas City to Arvada, a suburb of Denver. Still own my 2010 Brammo Enertia. Haven't ridden it lately but no plans to sell.

Hello, i'm in the south of FRANCE, in Uzes.
I've got a Brammo Empulse R since 2015.
No error on the bike, but the battery is almost dead (in winter), and i'm looking for solution to build a new battery.
Thanks for the forum !
Regards,
JC

Hi Empulse France, I'm not sure if you're aware but the Empulse battery cells charging is done in a unusual way. Under 13 deg C there is no charging, the current you see on the dash is the cell heaters. Once warmed to 13 deg C there is charging but heaters are only turned off once the cells reach 18 deg C and the full 24 amps in my case is supplied. My bike is stored in an unheated garage, it can take 20 minutes for charging to really start. Also, on a cold day the heaters cut back in whilst you're riding reducing the range slightly. I try not to take mine out below 10 deg C ambient and make sure there is somewhere the add charge to warm the cells if it needs to stand when visiting places. I learned this from the log files.
Hope this helps and it's not a cell issue.

Own a 2010 Enertia and 2014 Empulse R. Enertia batteries are dead, however, Empulse still running strong.

My Enertia is still going strong. At least it was last fall. Hope to take it on a ride soon.

Hi everyone !
I m in Hongkong with my Empulse R 2013. Got another Empulse 2014 (dead) for spare parts from a friend. Might look at rebuilding if I find space or possibly move the bikes to Europe.

Hi from switzerland,
I found the Brammo Empulse R in my neigbours garage some month ago when he asked me to move his bike a bit because he did not find the time to. Now its mine.
This forum already helped a lot digging into the usb logging data to check for:
- S56 low Voltage message
- got stranded when SoC went from 16% to 0% in 100 meters (actually it showed multiple errors before)
- digging the BMS & evaluating the battery health by looking at the data
I would love to add a second charger (get to 6kWh) and want to change the type1 charge connector (no very common in Europe).
Also to automatically transfer logging data over wifi and adding it to a database would be nice.
Its a very nice bike, which could benefit from a bit more power but... fair enough I did not even think that such a bike existed 10 years ago.
Needs a bit to get used to, but I guess I'm the right guy for that.
cheers
