Will Brammo be at the Denver Auto Show in March?
« on: January 28, 2011, 12:40:52 PM »
I would love to see the bikes in person, and meet some of the folks from Brammo. Please make this happen Brammo! Colorado is one of the best markets for EVs with the huge tax breaks. Almost no-one here has even heard of Brammo (until I tell them), but im betting that local media coverage would change that.

Skiing is pretty good here that time of year too. Im just sayin...

Ohhhh, only about 350 miles from me...I could take a nice little road trip...

When in March? Early or late? Would likely take my Piaggio MP3-500 up, but if too snowy, I could break in my new Fiat 500.

Here she is at over 9000 feet...but nice weather....I've had her about 11 thousand feet, but never in snow.

here she is at the VLA....

she likes to go on long rides, so a trip to Denver, if not snowed in, would make her happy.

Damn Gavin, that is one nice trike! Brammo, please make an electric on of these! Those seem to be getting very popular here in CO.

I can see the extra grip being a plus in Denver. Oh they will still fall down (unlike a fixed rear trike, these bikes lean and lean and can fall like a 2 wheel motorcycle) but have a nice bit of extra balance.

She is my daily rider since I got her in March of 2008. The Enertia Plus will replace her as my daily rider and she will become my weekend trip bike. Great on the highway...almost like riding a car, but without the cage part.

mmm, end of March, beginning of April....could still be dicey in Denver at that time of year....heck, the coldest i've ever been was driving from Albuquerque to Phoenix in April....38 degrees, but 50 plus mile per hour head winds and fighting to keep up to highway speeds (my bike can do 90 mph, but I could only go about 60 mph at WOT into that wind.) I nearly froze to death before hitting Arizona and dropping elevation from 7k down to 2k. It didn't help that I thought, oh its April, no biggie....and only had my spring/fall gloves. Winter gloves would have helped immensely...I had to stop every hour to get some hot tea or chocolate and get feeling back into my deep purple hands.

So...if Brammo is there I would likely plan on scootering, but have the car ready as a back up.

Whoops, slipped my mind that you had asked about the Denver Auto Show schedule... sorry about that. Yeah March and April are supposed to be the snowiest months of the year so a car may be a good idea. But, if the weather is anything like it has been lately it should be very mild. The winter hear has been very nice so far. Snow is mostly staying up in the mountains.
