HECK YEAH!!

Now I kinda wish I hadn't passed on the LEAF...but I don't work downtown anyways...

I wonder who will be parking there?? Currently the LEAF is not sold in New Mexico...I was getting mine from Oregon before I passed...

I do think there is a Volt in the state somewhere :)

When I get my Brammo I could park there and charge while hanging downtown and playing Geeks who Drink...and winning :)

(when we have all our members---Margaret, my youngest, my Bro, his wife and Myself--unfortunately mouthing "F-YOU" at the time of the photo...not looking nearly as punk as I felt---well we never lose...Not ego, just truth)

Gavin

hopefully this means we get some EV push here in New Mexico...I have no idea why we are so forgotten...we are a sunny state that is fairly green...with a fair number of hippy types :)...but we do have a smallish population and are fairly spread out and also fairly poor...I understand Cali and NY getting lots of EV love, but throw a few scraps our way...and we make a great testing ground as we have all kinds of weather and temps and are at high altitude...

I just got an (unsolicited) email from a solar panel installer/inventor/entrepreneur who wants to create some sort of solar bike port for EV motorcycles.  The reason I mention this is because he stated that the "solar states" in which he would focus his business were all the SW states, including NM.  I think NM gets the cold shoulder because the rest of think it is filled with people on welfare.  Amiright, therestofus?
 ???

BTW - had to google "geekswhodrink" and it looks amazingly fun.  There's even events here in Missouri, a state known for its lack of geeks and front teeth.

Ha, we have 8 places in New Mexico that do Geeks who Drink nights...so we may not be rich, but we are smart and like to drink obviously...

And the bars all take Food Stamps....kidding....

Geeks tend to be more upwardly mobile hipsters...

Santa Fe is actually pretty rich...and Los Alamos County has the 18th highest income average in the US.

@Gavin - Love the pic!!!

Wish we'd get some traction here in AZ as well, we are after all one of the sunniest states, with all year riding potential (at least for commuting)
From what I've seen over the last 7 months here, there seems to be a lot of money in the Scottsdale area (foodstamps not a huge issue here :P).
I saw a "Scottsdale Mom" driving a Hybrid Tahoe the other day  (what really?, a hybrid 6.0 Liter V8???)
I've even seen a Leaf and Volt or two around...
There seem to be some solar incentives from our utility company (SRP in my case), state and feds on the tax breaks, just got a solar water heater installed...
Come next year I hope to use my tax credits for the Empulse and the year after that get the solar panels :D
By which time solar panel tech would hopefully be a little better (more efficient, cheaper?)

Need some of those chargers here pronto!!!
