What Happened to Motoczysz?
« on: May 15, 2012, 08:48:37 PM »
It's like they disappeared. You go to their website to look at motorcycles and the newest they have is the

" '11 E1pc- coming soon " and it's greyed out.

Anyone know what's up?

They're definitely active. Czysz has begun interviewed on motopod recently and is focused on the Idler of Man. He will have two bikes there and the same two riders, Michael Rutter and Mark Miller. Really seems focused on beating the 100 mile average speed that eluded him last year.

I wish that Motoczysz would go back to the C1 MotoGP bike now that MotoGP is back to 1000cc.  I don't think it will happen.  It would have been cool to see another bike brand in the mix.

Here's a link to an article about Segway sponsoring the 2012 season (Note the nice picture of another great looking EV bike with a fairing  ;) )

I assume this year will be the year the 100 MPH average will be broken at the Isle of Man.  The last couple of years there has been fantastic coverage of the event on an HD cable channel, I think it was HDNET.
