"Border to Border: Oil-Free Across Oregon" Tour
Senator will travel length of state by electric vehicle
Portland, OR – Oregon’s Senator Jeff Merkley will celebrate America’s independence next week by traveling oil-free across Oregon and showcasing the need for America to declare its independence from overseas oil. The Senator will travel in an electric vehicle from the Washington border to the California border on July 2nd and 3rd, visiting communities along the way to highlight the potential for electric vehicles to transform how America uses energy.
