yep, also got my notice the other day. Was #1065, now #668!!! Pretty sizable move-up.Was going to order the regular Empulse as the R uprades didn't sound worth the additional $$$ to  me. The problem is I still need the tax incentives to swing the deal and I seriously doubt Governor Moon Beam is going to cut any slack where possible revenue is concerned. The feds might, if a Rep.win happens, but any incentive probably won't happen until late '13  at the earliest.
I'll probably wind up standing outside the dealership and slobber up the window :'(

I thought that the Republicans were trying to cut government spending, and were not supporters of green technology. Would it really be easier to get the tax incentive for an electric vehicle under a Republican president? Perhaps I misunderstood the "cut government spending" idea.
(My apologies for getting into politics.)

I hope so. I'm ready to close the pre-production era of my evolution notes : P

I'm guessing shipping to a dealer for test rides per the emails we got.  Also, a picture posted on their Facebook wall of one of their whiteboards shows a trip to Scuderia in San Francisco scheduled for September 11th.  Hmmm...

I'm glad I'm not the only one who saw that and jumped to a similar conclusion.
