Hello from San Diego
« on: June 15, 2010, 07:57:43 PM »
I have been looking and reading reviews about the Enertia since the beginning of the year.  This past weekend i test drove one,  then bought it an hour later.  The purchase process was a little lengthy.  I imagine Best Buy will streamline the process to more they sell.  The best part, Dave Harvey adjusted his schedule just to deliver it the next day.  Not only did he deliver on a Sunday, not only was it a 2hr drive but it was the day after his Anniversary.  Super nice guy.   Thanks Dave

I have commuted to work on it for 3 days and absolutely love it.  Tons of looks and questions from people at work.  When i have some extra time i'll throw together a video or two or perhaps some pics. ;D

Welcome to the forum. What other motorcycles do you own or have owned?

I have so much fun now that I commute to work on the Enertia.

Keep it classy, San Diego.  Welcome to the forum.  I've heard nothing but good things about Dave.  I'm pretty sure he's a member here on the forum... not sure why he hasn't posted.

So cool that the test drive nailed it for you.

Thanks for the kind welcome everybody.  After todays commute i should have my first 100 miles on it.  I am definitely learning to ride it more efficiently everyday.  Since my commute is 11.6 miles one way to work, and have the ability to charge there,  i move along at a pretty brisk pace.  To answer Phantom, I have owned a VTR250, ex500 and a cbr600.  I haven't ridden in 20 years and find the experience more pleasurable now than when i was a teen.
