Yep, that is I.
Driving home on Hillside Blvd from Trader Joe's around 4pm yesterday, I saw a 250 dirt bike stalled on the shoulder. The owner reported a flat tire, unable to start the bike, wife home with 2 young children, no friends with pickup trucks. Leo, a SF firefighter, was in the midst of pushing his broke gasser about 5 miles to a shop.
I went home and got some rope and towed him. The only issue was making turns where the inside rope pulled my bike to the side, but I learned to correct. A yoke rope with a slider tow rope would have solved that issue. It's the first time I've done such a tow. Used 2nd gear in Normal mode and the Empulse motor was easily up to the task.
Leo was way grateful and the folks at the shop got a yuck as I directed them to read my license plate: KIXGAS.
