Like all club racing, AHRMA mixes several classes of bikes together to give every class 2 races - one on Saturday and one on Sunday. There can be as many as 4 or 5 classes on the track together per race, so there are "races within the race" all around. Judging by lap times, the Brammo's are neither the fastest nor the slowest in this incredibly diverse field.
The slowest bikes seem to be the CB160s, which were lapping in the 2m30s range.
The fastest 250GP bike posted a 2m15.8s lap.
The fastest 350GP bike posted a 2m10s lap.
The fastest of the "Next Generation Superbikes" was running in the 1m 53s range. (FYI - This is the class that Shane Turpin usually races in with his Ducati when he races with AHRMA at Miller and Daytona)
Arthur Kowitz ran a 2m13.5s lap in Sunday's race. Pretty competitive with the field of bikes, just not with the Next Gen Superbikes that eSuperSport races with. From his accounts, they're having a ton of fun being on track with so many other riders and making a strong impression on the fans and racers alike. Arthur also mentioned this was the first time he and David Sadowski had been to this track and rains on Friday and Saturday made practice time non-existent.
