Other than looking ridiculous, isn't it optimally designed for maximum aerodynamic drag? And also for minimum ability to avoid sliding up into the deely boppers during braking maneuvers?
While I'm at it, how does the thing actually steer? The stalks that the hand grips are connected to can't move back and forth, they can only twist. I'm guessing that they are linked under the body work to twist together, but your hands would still each be experiencing a different "center of rotation" unlike a traditional bar or clip-ons...
