Wanted - Enertia Owners
« on: June 01, 2010, 12:07:25 AM »
I am looking for Enertia owners who are happy to talk about their whole Enertia experience on camera.
Does that sound like you?
It does. Okay here is the deal...send me a direct message and I will send you a cool Brammo flip video camera....you record your auto-videography...then upload the video file to Brammo.
That's it.  ;D

Oh yes and you get to keep the very cool Brammo video camera  ;D and you can always send in updates whenever you have the time and the inclination.

Adrian

This is fabulous! I cant wait to make me a little movie!
So... any ideas on what kind of movie to make. Care to share??

I think I am going to do the typical week in the life of Dorothy. Im gunna drive thro my favorite coffee place and let the girls talk to the camera. They all want my bike!
Really, if I just rode through town and filmed all the people that question me about the bike... that would be enough.
Hmmmm what to do, what to do!!??

I also received one, and my daughter was very impressed that it was the HD version.

Hey, does it have mounts available or is this one of those times that I have to get creative with duct tape?? ???

I am planning to use a suction-cup style mount that is used for GPS systems. I tested out the base connection and it works well. Now I just need to figure out a way to connect the Flip to it and I have not ruled out duct tape yet. I think a clamp could work.

Also, welcome to the forum, Rob.

I went Best Buy and bought a suction-cup video camera mount for $17, so no need to Macguyver it. It works great, but I had a lot of wind noise on the video that I made of commute home. I looked up a trick online which suggested that to use foam on the microphone to reduce the wind noise, so I'll try that next. I hope the engine sound still comes through.

I did a few tests over the weekend and had the same wind noise issue.  I didn't have any foam available so I just used some folded tissue and some painters tape.  It helped out a lot but I think foam would work even better.

I also made a quick chest mount.  I put it on thinking I had it aimed properly.  When I got back home I realized that I recorded 30 minutes of my left arm.  D'oh!

I am gonna keep trying.

Do you guys have more of these? I plan to run my Enertia to the ground mileage wise, I use to be a test pilot for Rhino Motorcycles and riding is mainly what I do for a living.
