Dutch sales numbers of electric motorcycles
« on: January 07, 2015, 05:47:14 PM »
2014 sales numbers for the Netherlands:

Brammo 16
BMW 34
ERockit 1
Govecs 1 (GO S2.4)
Zero 36

There are 6 KTM Freerides shown but not if they are electric so I guess they are petrol bikes.
There are some other (Chinese) brands I never heard of in the file that may be electric but unlikely.

Amazing numbers for the BMW C-Evolution in their first year!

Thanks for posting these. Wish we had comparable data for the U.S.

Do the sales figures for both Zero and Brammo cover the entire calendar year of 2014, or did Brammo come later to the party?

Thanks for the report,
Good figures for the Brammo, considering the enormeous marketing effort Zero is putting in on the Dutch market.

Modifications so far:
Crash bungs
shortened chain tensioner bolts

I took delivery of the first Empulse for a consumer in the Netherlands. That was on June 13, 2014...
But I made the buy in February at the "motorbeurs" in Utrecht direct from the Dutch importer (and payed the full price :( )
so the Empulse was for sale pretty much the whole year but sales only got going when the first dealers appeared and the price dropped.

The first Enertia was already delivered in December 2012 but only got registered in 2013.

Very interesting stuff. Brammo seems to be doing quite well in Europe. Hopefully well enough to keep things going :)
