Zero has a lot of success selling to police departments. PDs know what they spend to keep their gas bikes running, and electric is a huge win. If reliability remains good!

Plus the politics of going green resonates well on University campuses where the police might not be always politically correct.   ;)  Ride silent and smokeless.   :)

I had a conversation about e-bikes with a San Francisco PD motor officer on his Harley. He was somewhat open to it, but said the deal killer was the range. Even though SF is small, they frequently have duty that takes them out of the city limits, as much as 100 miles in a day. I still think they could have a mix and it would work well.
