torturing a Zero

If you would like to see a Zero tortured you can follow Aerostitch's attempt to freeze one to death. I will be really surprised if it makes it through the winter:   ???

Both the Zero and its riders are a tough crowd.  This time they are riding in -13 degrees (Fahrenheit, not Centigrade!) conditions.

Being a total California wuss by now... that opening photo is just so wrong! :o

It's amazing the batteries work at all, but then the heating blanket probably saves the day. It would be interesting to see what their actual range is at those temps. Probably longer than mine!

He seems to promote all kinds of gear and wears ski gloves?

And he needs to get a pinlock visor inlay. I thought most modern helmet come with pinlock standard these days?

For cold fingers I use battery operated heated motorcycle gloves and no need for heated grips. The battery of the gloves lasts longer than the battery of my bike so that is never an issue  8)

It is pretty cold this week over here too (minus 5 Celcius this morning)
Once you go EV, gas is history!
