Vespa Electtrica is coming to the U.S.

I am not sure if a 2 kW motor is going to cut it here though, especially at Vespa's typically premium prices.

It may do well in urban, techie, affluent areas, like San Francisco Bay Area, where the rider doesn't need to venture on the freeways. Lot of coin for the specs.

Hmm that's not bad if its for $5500, its better than the CSC Cityslicker.  If if it's in city riding 60 miles of range with work, I mean that's what the my Empulse gets =P  Would make a good commuter if you don't have to hit the freeway

Considering that Vespa has one fancy 50cc model that sells (or used to sell) for around $10,000, my guess is that the price will be more than $5,500.
