Agreed. What trail bike has a basket on the front? I do think we are getting close to (I hate this cliche) the tipping point with electrics. There are many start ups now, and more coming.

I liked the practical design and utility options, but not the price. Although I can understand how the cost has to be pretty steep when trying to stay in business manufacturing a low-volume, specialized, electric vehicle and shipping it halfway around the world into a market that is dominated by 4-wheel utility vehicles.

While the similar ICE Rokon has managed to (barely) stay in business for close to 50 years, they are still not a major player in the off-road utility vehicle market.

I think one of the comments in the article referenced, one from a NZ man, perhaps issues an accurate warning: most of what he terms "ag bikes" are being taken over by quads which can carry a lot more and therefore offer a lot more utility.

Still, I find the design eye-catching.

I found it creative and very adaptable for various off-road utility purposes. However, I am not sure that most farmers or ranchers would want to pay that much for the Ubco, when they can get a 4-wheel utility vehicle for around the same price, which would probably be more useful.  However, some recreational enthusiasts with campers would probably buy the thing and use it like they did many years ago with the Honda CT90.
