Well that didn't last long.  I don't know how they can say HD is going to be a leader in the electric motorcycle market when they haven't even released one yet.  Goodluck going up against Zero what's gotta happen is better tech and lower prices and I don't see that happening with HD.

Here is the latest update about the H-D Livewire. But every time I hear them mention that it will be a "premium product", my wallet starts quivering.

More news:  I just heard on the radio that H-D plans to open an office in Silicon Valley to design and develop electric motorcycles. I guess they weren't allowed to do that in Milwaukee.

But what are the odds of finding experienced EV engineers around Silicon Valley that are willing to work for H-D and can be paid enough to actually live here?

Remember this topic, Richard and Hades? I think we were the only guys that guessed a price Richard said 35, I said 41, and Hades said 17!!

I think we have to wait until the first one is actually bought in order to see who comes closest.

That site keeps getting updated. Now the MSRP is listed as $29,799 and the LiveWire is "coming" August 2019:  https://www.harley-davidson.com/us/en/motorcycles/future-vehicles/livewire.html

So I think that makes my earlier guess closest, especially when you add the extra-cost accessories that will be pushed on to the bike's customers by H-D dealers, like a WWI steel helmet with a lightning bolt on the top.
