I rode the Ego a little over a year ago. Really a nice bike, quality build. However, the weight of the bike and how it is distributed made it a non starter for me. I watched the salesman trying to get it out of the showroom and when I tried to lift it off the kickstand I thought it had been superglued to the pavement! Once upright (and as long as you didn't let it lean at all) it was manageable. When going around a corner, you can feel that the CG is very high on the bike as you lean into the turn. To me, it took a lot of effort to keep the bike on the track you wanted through the turn without manhandling it or using a lot of body english. I guess the other Energica's with the higher bars and more upright seating position are easier to handle according to those who have ridden them. The low bars on the Ego offered limited leverage to do much with the bike at low speed. At higher speeds it was at least driveable. I settled on a Zero SR/F instead which was nearly 100 pounds lighter with a lower CG which works out better for me and how I ride. Still have the Victory Empulse TT in the garage so I have a good choice when I want to ride.
