Brammo at the Macau Grand Prix?
« on: October 07, 2010, 11:02:01 AM »
Anyone close to Macau?   ???
Speculation: Brammo to Macau Grand Prix?

Let's see.... Round trip tickets from KC to Macau:
Economy class: $1800+
First class: $10,653  :o

Hotels... the Hyatt is $141 a night.

Tickets to the races: range from $25 to $112... hmm, no "weekend packages" on their website.

Food, drinks, souvenirs - another $500 - $1,000?

What else?

And where the heck is it?  Oh... it's here:

I wonder what the natives look like?

Oh.  (What's that lone blonde doing there in the Miss Macau pageant?)

Okay, so who's going?

So are you planning to attend? I think we can at least save you the cost of an entry ticket Brammofan. :)

Thank you for the generous offer, James.  It's the other ticket that's keeping me home, unfortunately.  Unless Jackie wants to cover that, I'll think I'll just stick around here and wait for the reports.  Please keep us updated, though, okay?

Harry, of course you'll get up to the minute news feeds over the weekend!

Here's a bit of a Brammo Forum exclusive:

JCAM has partnered up with Brammo TTX rider Mark Buckley for the Macau Superbike race.  Despite much arm twisting from both Mark and ourselves, we were unable to get a Brammo race bike on track for a lap.  That said Mark will be riding a BMW S1000RR in the main race, sponsored by JCAM.  We will have a Brammo stand at the event so Asia can get its first look at the Empulse along with Mark's TTR bike from 2009!

It will be a big logistical challenge (/nightmare) so wish us luck!  Lots of photos and updates to come.

Definitely wishing you the best of luck.  Bummer that they won't let a Brammo race bike onto the track.

So the Brammo TTR will be there, the Empulse will be there, and I assume some Enertias will be there.  What about the Enertia Plus?  And the Empulse RR racebike?

Oh, and what about the big boss of JCAM?   ???

TTR is a modified Enertia for racing

RR is a modified Empulse for racing.
