It's not bad looking but the specs are pretty disappointing.

Looks like your usual smallish scooter.  But yeah the specs are kinda meh.  Disappointed it doesn't  have the gogoro batteries.  Looks like a proprietary modular design.

Meanwhile Kawasaki has been working on this:

I get the feeling that the major Japanese motorcycle manufacturers just are not serious about the future of electric propulsion in the marketplace.    ::)

Maybe so, but Kawasaki is clearly the leader in electric goat mobility.

That's pretty cool.  Kawasaki is pretty big into robotics.  They should make a mech suit

More Yamaha scooter news. Not much new here other than Yamaha developing their own scooter with a permanent, non-removable, battery and the thought of going almost carbon neutral by 2050: https://thepack.news/yamaha-motor-introduces-e01-electric-scooter-for-poc-testing-from-july-2022/

Hmm it's not bad looking

I wish Honda would make an electric Super Cub.  I bought one last year for Doordash after Victory bought the Empulse back.  It is a great little bike but the engine is kinda meh.  It's 4 speeds centrifugal clutch so you are constantly shifting.  It makes about 9HP, my Light Bee is faster than it.  If I could have this bike with the power of the Light Bee would be awesome.  It would be smoother, faster, and easier to ride.  It has ABS, LED lights, smart key, alarm, and it's comfy.  If they could make something like this with 100 miles of city range would be good enough for me :)

This is a great idea for a number of reasons. A Yamaha electric trials bike: https://thepack.news/yamaha-motor-updates-their-ty-e-electric-trials-motorbike-to-the-new-ty-e-2-0/
