Verge electric motorcycles

Check out the exploded diagram of the Verge electric motorcycle's rear wheel/electric motor on their website: Very interesting, but I wonder how heavy it is, how will it affect handling and ride comfort and what will it be like to change the rear tire?

Fantastic video

I like the exploded view of the motor and wheel assembly.
Now I wish they would have more info on the battery design and packaging and cell structure.
We will be going in the way of the traditional Hotrods of the 50s and the flood of EVs will force us to modify and adapt as technology advances. Or just throw it away and buy the latest model ?
Thanks for keeping us up to date with these posts Richard230.

I would love to ride one of these. It makes a ridiculous amount of torque. Kinda pricey though. They can put a lot of battery thanks to the motor being in the wheel.

Happy New Year, everyone.
Verge has announced another new model, the 2023 Verge TS Ultra, with very impressive specifications and a price to match:

Pretty pricey and that's the base one.
