Tommorow it is projected that at:

7 am

So I have a good chance of riding in minus degrees. Sweet....

I think "eccentric" is probably the nicest description. I can't picture ever wanting to ride with snow or ice on the roads, never mind in temperatures that would make me bundle up so much that I had built my own "cage" (albeit not actually protective v impacts).

And to think I get odd looks from many when they find out I ride year long here.

Ha, I'll accept eccentric :)

I just see it as a challenge. I love riding in beautiful weather much, much, MUCH more...luckily we have a lot of really nice weather...but riding when it is super cold, well it just says, to me, hey I love riding so much that I'll take some bad with all the good.

That and not owning a car for 6 years has been a strange little point of pride for me...I ride in snow and wind and rain...and on beautiful sunny days...heck yeah I like the sunny days best, but that is easy, joyful riding...zero degree riding is, "FU nature, I'm still riding and you cant stop me"

Of course I'm getting a car soon so I won't be able to "boast" about being carless for long...
