Zero gets more money and Neal Saiki goes vertical
« on: March 17, 2011, 09:59:47 AM »
According to an article by Clutch and Chrome, Zero has acquired an additional $26 million to help fund their world-wide operations and to expand their production of electric motorcycles. Meanwhile, its founder, Neal Saiki, who has announced that he is quitting day-to-day control of the company, is doing so to work on a human-powered helicopter, in order to compete for the Sikorski Prize   :o

Good luck with that! My recommendation would be to stick to electric power.   ;D

Read about it here:  http://www.clutchandchrome.com/news/news/zero-motorcycles-rides-through-changes
current bikes: 2018 16.6 kWh Zero S, 2011 Royal Enfield Bullet 500 Classic, 2009 BMW F650GS, 2007 BMW R1200R, 2005 Triumph T-100 Bonneville, 2002 Yamaha FZ1 and a 1978 Honda Kick 'N Go Senior.

I would love to be at that point. You know the one. The one where you get up one morning and think to yourself, 'Self, we've done well. We're not really needed at the office any more. Let's just putter in the garage and work on perpetual motion instead.'
