Brammo Appoints Greg Stoermer On New Vehicle Design
« on: July 21, 2011, 09:43:45 AM »
I started to just link to the post on Stay On the Black --Brammo Appoints Greg Stoermer On New Vehicle Design -- but there is so much more to this story.

The article mentions that he worked for US Honda for a while before he opened his own consultancy.
The article doesn't mention that he apparently did some work for Lightning Motorcycles:

More info here, but it doesn't mention Stoermer as the designer:
http://www.asphaltandrubber.com/racing/lightning-motors-concept-sketch/

On his website, he lists MotoCzysz as one of his clients.

An interview with him here is filled with great sketches and insightful quotes:

Fun video showing his design process here:

Wonder what this means in terms of the design of the Empulse, Engage and Encite...especially the latter two.

I had the pleasure of meeting Greg at Laguna Seca and I think he will be a great asset to the Brammo team.  He's very driven to produce and obviously very talented.  The Brammo Empulse TTX drawing was basically produced by him in a weekend.  He's thrilled to be working with Brammo and when he was telling me his story I said, "sounds like you're living your dream."  He was quick to agree.
