Electric Superbike Racing: Brammo Part V
« on: September 07, 2011, 11:06:36 PM »
Atlas has written part 5 of his report on racing for Brammo.

It's a lengthy and exciting account of the race at Laguna Seca. Enjoy! ;D

Here's a shaky video taken by Aaron on the pit wall at the finish.  It's not the greatest, but does show just how tight and exciting the battle with CRP and Munch was.  Also how excited we were to see Steve make it to the line first!

I hope there's a commercial release of all the race coverage. I haven't been able to catch any of the races as they happened, and the youtube clips are nice but far from complete.

There's a sad story about the race footage from the Laguna Seca round.  Azhar Hussain of TTXGP had offered to bring his usual camera man, onboard camera rigs, etc., but was forbidden to do this by FIM and Dorna, who PROMISED that he would be provided ample footage for a show he was producing.  The footage they provided was poor and had little coverage of the actual race.  Basically left him (and us fans) high and dry.
