I just heard on the news that the DeLorean Motor Company, the firm that bought the assets to the DeLorean car, announced that they would be producing an all-electric version of the vehicle to be introduced in 2013. I assume that it will be powered by a flux capacitor.   ;)

Yeah...pretty cool...one of the founders of Aptera is doing the converson...Chris Anthony of Epic Boats and, interestingly, Flux Power batteries...

I think I have a facebook post that shows him with the Electric DeLorean from a few months ago...didn't know it was a more than one deal...thought it was just his own Delorean that he converted...
