3) If you want something made in America by American workers, wait for the 2014 Leaf or something similar.
Or buy a 2012 Ford Focus EV. I waited for this car, but then they decided that Colorado was unworthy of intro market status. So they lost a sale, and I bought a Cruze ECO. Love it BTW.
Yup, the Focus is another good example, built in Michigan. Same for Cruze ECO, built in Ohio.
Hopefully you won't have any problems parking too close to open flames with your ECO...
