BOXX electric m/c at Portland Auto Show

Ran across this electric motorcycle thingy at the Portland Auto Show.  It's the "BOXX ® the 1 meter all electric, all wheel drive device vehicle™".  (See www.boxxcorp.com).  It goes at moped speeds with a range of 40 miles, upgradable to 80.

40 miles on that thing at any speed looks like a chore to me, especially on today's crumbling roads, which are crumbling a lot faster in cities, where that thing would likely only be used.   :o

I love thinking "out of the box". but not necessarily "in the box".   ::)

This EV moped box thing is going into production next year according to this article.
