Your workplace is installing a charging station next to the motorcycle parking.

My other top 10 choice is and possibly a contender for NO.1:
_. You don't actually own a motorcycle but you buy top of the line gear that matches an electric motorcycle that's not in production yet.

You daydream, thinking about what life would be like to live in Ashland, OR working for Brammo in some way that matched your career plan.

(As a confessed Brammoholic, I have many more.)

You realize it's been a few days since you've been able to ride, so you turn on the bike just to hear the startup sound.

You wonder if there's a .wav or .mp3 file of that startup sound that you can put on your phone.

ha, yeah...love that sound...

I will actually miss pushing the button on the "tank" for start up...I like that step (cycling the throttle switch is the one I usually forget and wouldn't mind having deleted from the start up cycle.)

Related to Phantoms comment.

You daydream that Brammo will call and say "We have started production of Empulses but we are short of personel. Could you possibly make a pilgrimage to Ashland to help assemble your bike." To which you answer "I'll be there tomorrow"

You hear there is a Brammo Empulse release event in California in May....You instantly get on Google Maps and plan a route (800 miles from Albuquerque to LA)...then go to an RV site and then to plug charge to see where you can get juice to charge the loaner Enertia along the way....

Then you realize it will be a 5 1/2 day trip on this commuter bike (each way) and decide to either fly or truck the bike out....

You hope Brammo will let you take delivery directly from the facility of assembly so nobody else can touch your baby. I would much rather take delivery from Brammo... BTW any known Colorado dealers anyway?

If they will let me, I have a mc trailer I can hook up to my Cruze so I can just make the road trip and haul the Empulse back to CO. I would like to meet the folks at Brammo and check out the facility too.

You actually consider applying to some of the Brammo job postings....

even though your work experience is purely in the Medical field...

and your whole family is now living in New Mexico (you actively worked to get them all to move from Maryland to New Mexico over the last 15 years)

and your wife of almost 27 of marriage (31 years together) would wish you luck and give you a nice little hug as you got on the plane west to Ashland, but you would make that trip alone...

Just because you would love to work for a fun startup company trying to change the world (I would have jumped at a chance to work for Apple back when I was in College...still mildly regret not pursuing one...though all these years of working with children with heart disease has been amazing...and sometime quite sad)....

You buy an ICE bike that is similar to the expected performance of the Empulse, just for the practice.

Yep, I've been without a bike for about a year, and I don't want to do anything dumb like drop it on my first day because I forgot how to ride. So I just bought a used Kawasaki Ninja 500R. I'm hoping that will give me some practice while I wait. (Curiously, getting back on a bike was a lot easier than I thought it would be. I guess it was just like riding a bike. Duh. ::))

The bikes are about the same weight (430 lbs vs 420 lbs for the E 10) and we're expecting the Empulse to behave like a 600 cc sports bike.

I just hope that it will be easy to sell the Ninja when it's Empulse time. 8)

...unless you fall while practicing...  ::)

As far as being a Brammoholic: You Know You're A Brammoholic When... you map all the freebies outlets in your area for when "that" conceptual electric motorcycle stops being a concept and becomes a reality...   ;D

Now that I have a new(ish) bike to ride, I'm looking at all the new gear that I should be getting to replace my old junk. Sadly, since I don't know what color my Empulse is going to be, I'm holding off getting a new jacket and helmet. My old junk still works... so I can wait a couple more months when the specs are finalized. And I'm assuming here that there will be some kind of color selection, and not just red (although I suppose I could always paint if I didn't like red!)

Speaking of colors, have the Plus colors changed? Or are they still going with Red, Black, Silver and Blue?

Top 10 Reasons You Know You're A Brammoholic When...

You buy a used pick-up truck just so you can take the Brammo motorcycle (that you don't even own yet!) everywhere you travel to.

And understand that I am 50 years old and have never owned, nor thought of owning, a pick up truck.... Now I'm making plans to go to SECA with the bike, camping trips, family vacations....I'm buying ramps and bed extenders for the truck so the bike can basically never leave my side...

It might be an actual sickness now that I think about it....
